This Online Course Allows instructors to renewal their ACLS, BLS, or PALS Certifications with the American Heart Association. This course is taught by a Training Center Faculty and allows instructors to be monitored, updated, and verified as well as issue their instructor cards for their next two year cycle. PALS Initial/Renewal Course
This Advanced Course is designed to develop skills in recognition & quality of care that will be provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. Through the use of algorithms, PAT assessment and Rhythm recognition, the student will attain the needed tools to help support or prevent cardiac arrest in the pediatric or infant patient. Skills Enforced: High-quality Child CPR AED and Infant CPR Recognition of patients who do and do not require immediate intervention Recognition of cardiopulmonary arrest early and application of CPR within 10 seconds Apply team dynamics Differentiation between respiratory distress and failure Early interventions for respiratory distress and failure Differentiation between compensated and decompensated (hypotensive) shock Early interventions for the treatment of shock Differentiation between unstable and stable patients with arrhythmias Clinical characteristics of instability in patients with arrhythmias Post–cardiac arrest management

These lay person Courses are designed for learning the highest quality of medical emergency care for the Pediatric patient. This is a perfect place to start if you have no medical background or have a limited background and need the skills learned her to become more self sufficient. Each course covers: OSHA, Oregon Health Authority and Coast Guard Requirements for medical training and education. Course Provides knowledge of both Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation in conjunction with First Aid Skills and has an emphasis an emergencies that occur with Pediatric and Infants. THIS IS A BLENDED LEARNING COURSE-Skills verification must be done in person.
