HeartCode ACLS. This is an advanced course for healthcare professionals who either directly effect or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. This course has an emphasis on building Basic life support skills which includes effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED. During this course you will learn: Recognition and management of respiratory and cardiac arrest as well as recognition and early management of pre cardiac arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia and tachycardia. Skills Enforced: Basic & Advanced Airway management Advanced Vascular Access including I.O Access & Management First line Pharmacology use and knowledge. Recognition & Management of ACS & Stroke Recognition of STEMI & NSTEMI on 4 & 12 lead EKG Recognition of Cardiac Algorithms & Rhythms. Team Building as well as effective leadership skills needed for successful resuscitation.
